Super Cool Lamp

Look at this awesome lamp we saw at Shades Of Light.

Impact with color

Here is an idea that we borrowed from Hollywood. Paint the back of the cabinet in a light blue. It will give your cherished belongings a suitable background.

New Osborne and Little ... Oo La La

Talk about wow factor... Just this morning we got to see the new Osborne and Little Spring 2008 lines. As usual with this amazing line, everything was beautiful, but the new wallpaper books that we ordered have some truly exceptional designs. A couple of our favorites to follow, but you can see all the collections on the O&L website http://www.osborneandlittle.com/osborne-&-little/ (above is Clarendon wallpaper with flocked silhouettes, from the Folia collection)

This subtle, but lovely, floral is by Suzie Hoodless, an English Interior designer, from her Hothouse collection for O&L (pattern is Arizona).

O&L classics like Coronata and Mandara are just a couple designs in the new Metropolis line of extra-wide (and extra-durable) vinyls... a perfect choice if you're looking to add a little extra swank to a bathroom or kitchen.

As a parting shot, this gorgeous paper is from Nina Campell's new book. As added aside, this design is named Belzoro, after the mine that was located in Virginia during the American Gold Rush... stunning and historical, what more could a true Virginian ask for?

Form meets Fabulous: A Kid-Friendly Before and After

Before:

After:

This family room in Weston Hills is proof that a room can function as a kid friendly space and still look beautiful. The trick is to incorporate resilient fabrics and durable accessories. The space retains its function as a gathering area for the couple and their two children, but it now exudes a casual elegance.
